| 2) | CPAT draws its membership from a diverse group of individuals and companies directly involved in the production of commercials, primarily for television broadcast. |
| 3) | CPAT aims to develop common business practices and procedures and to set minimum industry standards in areas such as health and safety. |
| 4) | CPAT aims to maintain and improve the political climate which in any way affects or may adversely affect commercial production in Toronto. |
| 5) | CPAT aims to distribute to its members news of issues, evolving technologies and trends in any way affecting the commercial production sector of the advertising and broadcast industries. |
| 6) | CPAT aims to communicate with all levels of government, in a single unified lobby, to protect and further the interests of Toronto's commercial production industry. |
| 7) | CPAT acts on behalf of its members as a referral service to potential clients and producers contemplating doing business in Toronto. |
